Back in April my lovely boyfriend took me to London to celebrate our anniversary -8 years and I'm starting to feel old!-
We spent the day roaming London Bookshops (Yesterday's post is a haul!) and browsing around the city before heading off to the o2 to watch WWE Raw Live.
But of course I couldn't have spent the day in London without beelining to Lush Oxford Street.
I am so in love with that store. Like Beyonce - "Crazy In Love" style love. I could have spent hours in there browsing and sniffing my way through the countless products but sadly I had a time (and money) limit. I had to operate a smidge of self-restraint.
That being said, I did still manage to pick up a pretty good haul of exclusives so without further ado....
Furze Bath Melt - Let me first say the selection of Bath Melts in the Oxford Street store is AMAZING. I was blown away by the choice. This one in particular really appealed to me. Furze is a fresh, floral, almost tropical scent that is perfect for summer. This bath melt immediately caught my eye due to the vivid pink flower on the top that I can only imagine will look stunning in the bath.
I've yet to use this melt but I'm sure it will work just like the other melt's I've used and create a relaxing and moisturising bath with a scent that lingers on the skin.
Furze Body Spray - The same scent as the Bath Melt, this makes the perfect body spray. I've had so many compliments when I've worn this spray mostly due to the dominant coconut/vanilla smell. It's a bit of a love/hate fragrance as it despite being tropical also has grassy notes that complement the scent but also makes it more complex.
Sadly you can only get these formats of Furze from the Oxford Street store however, if you're desperate to get your hands on some you can buy the perfume Online and presumably in some stores.
Intergalactic Bath Bomb - This was originally an Oxford exclusive but has recently made its way nationwide! This bath bomb creates possibly one of the most beautiful baths I've ever had. The blue, gold and pink swirl and create an exciting bath experience with the added fun of popping candy. The primary scent is Peppermint oil but the additions of Grapefruit and Cedarwood oil take of that toothpaste like smell and instead mellow it all out creating an extremely fresh bath that leaves your skin tingling when you get out of the bath. I HIGHLY recommend you go and find one for yourself.
Lava Lamp Bath Bomb - Lava Lamp is another exclusive. The vivid orange accurately represents the smell as the immediate scent you get from this is orange. It's an incredibly fruity sweet scent that lingers in the air and has been filling my bedroom with its scent for the past few weeks. The purple dots are actually olive oil based bath melts that dissolve into the tub and creates a lava-lamp like effect on the surface of the bath. If your stopping by Oxford Street I definitely recommend picking this one up!
Golden Slumbers - This little mellow number is potentially one of the most understated of all lush's bath bombs. Whilst it's beige exterior doesn't scream excitement, it perfectly matches the calming smell of Lavender and Camomile. As the name suggests this sleepy combination is designed to relax you before bed and help you sleep. It creates a moisturising bath with gold glitter that really does help you to feel sleepy. This really appealed to me as I frequently have poor sleep so this is definitely a winner and I really hope they make this a nationwide bath bomb!
The Comforter - I don't really feel like I need to explain this as I'm pretty sure anyone that knows Lush will have already used or heard of this bubble bar. The comforter is one of my all-time favourites and I had to pick up another one. I won't go into massive detail about it as I've spoken about it a lot in the past, but its amazing so buy it.
Shark Infested Custard Bath Melt - Sadly this one got a little melted somewhere along the way but the smell more than makes up for the appearance. As you would expect this little melt smells exactly like custard and really does smell good enough to eat! Its super moisturising and the perfect size for a great bath experience so you don't need to cut it up at all. This is another that I really hope they move nationwide!
That's all for today's post! I'm trying to work myself into a decent routine now that I'm back from Uni, so the posts may be a little sporadic for the next week until I get myself sorted!
Thanks for reading!
I cannot wait to move to London in a couple of months and basically spend my whole salary in Oxford Street Lush! Furze Bath Melt looks so weird haha! I would love to try it out though, just out of curiosity! The dragon bubble bar is sooo adorable and looks amazing in photos, don't think I'd have the heart to use it! xx
