Naked 3 Dupe? W7 In The Nude Eye Shadow Palette

We've all heard of the amazing and highly coveted Naked Palettes by Urban Decay. But most of us (like myself) just can't justify spending £30+ on an Eye-shadow Palette and so rely on the generosity of family members at special occasions. Well now W7 have released an amazingly similar product that dare I say could even be called a dupe and what's even better is that it is a fraction of the price coming in at only £9.99!

*In The Nude by W7 contains 12 highly pigmented Eye-shadows and a doubled ended applicator - one end is a fairly decent quality brush (pictured above) and the other end is the typical sponge applicator - which I personally dislike.
The 12 shades are all very wearable and blend nicely into each other, the formulas of the shadows are buttery, smooth and long lasting. I really do like this palette.

Below are swatches of all the shades - there are two swatches of each shadow. The swatch on the left is a dry swatch, whilst the swatch on the right is a wet swatch.

  • Latte - Latte is a perfect matte nude shade, it's very subtle when dry but you can see it has more pigmentation when applied wet. This will made a great base for any eye look.
  • Angel - Angel is a light shimmery pink. The shimmer is silver and highly reflective as you can see in the photo. This is probably more of a 'party' shade as it is very glittery.
  • Venice - This is probably one of my favourite shades. It's a slightly shimmery rose pink which is very flattering. It blends wonderfully and doesn't look quite as 'out there' as Angel does.

  • Marilyn - The second of the Matte shades, Marilyn is a dusky rose shade that again would work well as a base shadow.
  • Copper Pot - As the name suggests this shadow has slightly copper toned shimmer that looks really lovely on its own.
  • Sun Kissed -  Similar to Venice this shadow offers a subtle shimmer that isn't too in your face. This appears slightly golden on the skin and I think it would look beautiful in the summer with a tan.

  • Alice - The third and final matte shade, this is the only one that I had a few issues applying evenly. I'm not sure if its just a dud shade but it was applying fairly patchy and took awhile to even it out. However, once you've sorted it out it is a lovely shade and I think it makes a nice crease colour if you're not looking for anything to wild.
  • Bad Manners - You can see the colours are getting deeper in this half of the palette and I think this shade is stunning. It's got a rose gold feel about it and is stunning blended in.
  • Coffee Cup - A more bronzed version of Bad Manners, this applies like a dream and is super pigmented. I think this is another shade that would look great on its own on the lids.

  • Mud Slide - Similar to Bad Manners but more Purple toned. A great colour for the crease as it blends out beautifully.
  • Tokyo - If you want a smoky eye this is your go to shade. A deep purple with a very slight iridescence you can pack it on for maximum effect or blend it out for a subtle smoke.
  • Fashionista - Last but not least! This Blackish Purple has slight reddish flecks in it that make it feel warm for a black based colour. Paired with Toyko it will make the perfect sultry smoky eye.
Overall I really enjoy this palette and it is so similar colour wise to the Naked 3 Palette that I personally think this is a great dupe and at a fraction of the price who can complain??!
