I'M BACK!
Exams are finally over, leaving me to move on with my life and enjoy the freedom of being out of education for the first time in 18 years!
What better to celebrate and get back into blogging than a little haul!
By little, I mean a disproportionately large haul that I had to lug around London for an entire day before taking it into the O2 to watch 4 hours of wrestling.
So yanno... prime book shopping opportunity.
Anyyyway. I've been saving up all the books I wanted to buy for awhile and being fairly (read: barely) strict on myself, trying to remind myself on a frequent basis that I was going to buy a shit tonne of books in London. Yes, shit tonne is a technical term.
I've got a lot of books to run through so I won't go into massive detail about them, as I'm sure I will be posting full reviews once they've been read, instead I will just list them and update this in the future with any links to reviews.
1. Red Rising - Pierce Brown
2. The Winners Crime - Marie Rutkoski
3. The One - Kiera Cass
4. A Shadow Kiss - Richelle Mead
5. The Shadow Queen - C.J. Redwine
6. The Catalyst - Helena Coggan
7. Zodiac: A Novel - Romina Russell
8.Cruel Crown - Victoria Aveyard
9. The Wicked + The Divine - Gillen McKelvie & Wilson ...
10. The Sleeper and The Spindle - Neil Gaiman
11. Cress - Marissa Meyer
12. Glittering Court - Richelle Mead
13. Illuminae - Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
I had a mighty haul and could have easily brought even more to be honest. The books came from Waterstones Piccadilly - The Largest bookshop in Europe! Their cafe make a smashing Almond Milk Mocha! -, Forbidden Planet -Literally the coolest bookshop ever if you're a graphic novel fan- and Foyles - a bookshop you can happily get lost in for hours.
If you live near London, or are planning on making a visit soon, then I highly recommend you check out these bookshops for yourself, you will not regret it! If I lived closer I would be there every week, however I would also never have any money so swings and roundabouts, eh?
If you want a review of any of the above books let me know and I will make sure it happens!
As always thanks for reading!
