I'm quite enjoying writing these update posts so I hope you're enjoying reading them too!
How am I feeling?
This past month has been a breeze for me. Gone are the days of the first month where I felt tempted to weight myself. Once you've detached yourself away from the scales for long enough the temptation and need to know what that number is slowly diminishes. I've been able to be completely clueless as to what I weight and truly not care.
I'm thinking that in the next month as my exercise increases (she says hopefully) that I will start to measure my body with a tape measure around the areas that I want to tone and loose weight from. I think this will be a more accurate representation of my achievements rather than weighing myself.
The Verdict
Today was meant to be my planned weight day but to be honest I have absolutely no desire to do so. I know I've not eaten fantastically recently and I've been ill for the past week so I'm aware that my weight wouldn't be accurate. I may choose to weigh myself next month and If I do I will be sure to share my results. Overall I'm just feeling really happy that I'm not reliant on those scales and I'm at a point where I can value myself regardless of whatever number may show up.
I've gone off the idea of weighing myself, and use before and after shots instead :) It appears I'm toning more than I'd ever lost weight haha x

Kudos to you for not living off the number on the scale. I think for some people it can be a bit obsessive and stir downhill. As long are you're healthy and feel good about yourself, that should be most important.

I'm definitely someone that becomes obsessive! You are so right! It should be entirely about how you feel rather than the number on the scales.

Good on your for doing this :) I really don't like looking at the scales - I've always thought it's a number. If I feel healthy and I feel well then I'm fine. I only get weighed at the doctors or check ups, never do it myself. I used to check all the time when I was younger so it's so refreshing to just not be so fixated on it anymore. You're doing amazing :)
