REVIEW: Roger & Gallet Hand and Nail Balms - Say Goodbye to the Grease!

Seriously. These are THE best hand creams balms that I have EVER tried.

Back a few months ago I was lucky enough to be sent these gorgeous hand and nail balms by the lovely ladies at Roger & Gallet to test out.
Annoyingly I've been super delayed with letting you guys know how I got on because of annoying uni things, like endless coursework and exams! However, second year has finished (hurrah!) and I've got all the time in the world to blather on about skincare and makeup to you guys!

Now those of you that are already aware of my love affair with Roger & Gallet's Fleur de Figuier scent will not be surprised to hear that I was practically jumping for joy when I found out that they were releasing a hand and nail balm with the same scent! However I was also concerned on how this scent would effect the moisture given with the product and also how having a scented hand balm would effect my hands that sometimes flare up with an uncomfortable dermatitis.

However, this balm doesn't react with my hands at all! It keeps them moisturised for hours and the scent really does linger (which I love). The formula is non-greasy and this is what I was the most sceptical about, I struggled to see how something that moisturises wouldn't be greasy, but this product is more like a balm and it leaves your hands feeling nourished yet not greasy or sticky as the usual hand creams often can. I was happily using my Fleur de Figuier balm whilst I was at Uni revising and it kept my hands nice and soft and hydrated despite lots of stress and revision and considering I used this everyday I've still got loads left (in fact it doesn't even feel like I've used any!) This is because you need the smallest amount (pea sized) to moisturise your hands and the effects last for ages.

The Fleur de Figuier hand & nail balm is enriched with shea butter and aloe vera so your hands are soothed aswell as moisturised. Whereas the Bienfaits, is also enriched with extracts of 5 red fruits and will not only nourish and moisturise your hands but help to tone them as well (great for the ladies that are worried about wrinkly hands as they age!)  Bienfaits balm, is slightly less scented than the Fleur de Figuier but it still has a beautiful fruity scent (to me it smells like orange) I actually gifted this hand balm to my mum as I knew she would adore it as she is a big fan of hand creams, and she loves it as well!

These Hand and Nail balms retail at £6 each for 30ml of product which I think is really reasonable.

If you fancy getting your hands on these (or these on your hands!) then you can head on over to Feel Unique and pick them up for a steal (and free shipping over £10!)  http://www.feelunique.com/brands/roger-gallet/body-care
