The £1.99 Face Mask? From H&M?!!!

If you read the title with a surprise then you are not the only one. I was shocked when I walked into my local H&M to suddenly find a huge beauty section that wasn't there on my last visit!
Amongst the selection of Make-up, Nails and Miscellaneous beauty items I spotted a display that instantly caught my eye. These little multi-coloured bubbles of joy pictured above.

Now I'm usually quite in the know about beauty releases as I tend to keep my ear to the ground but somehow this launch from H&M completely missed me despite the fact that it's been around since September last year! (Bad Blogger!) Shocked at the crazy low price of £1.99 each, I knew I had to pick up a handful of the pockets of sunshine and give them a whirl.

There are a tonne of different 'flavours' for you to try out and they have a stunning array that cater for a variety of skin types.
I choose 3 that I knew would help me with my current situation.

Raspberry Leaf:
Peel-off Mask for Combination Skin.
- Containing Vitamin E, this peel off mask softens and balances the skin whilst leaving behind a fruity scent.

Witch Hazel and Willowherb
For Blemish Prone Skin.
- A soothing mask that contains Sweet Almond Oil, designed to tackle blemishes without drying the skin.

Kiwi and Watermelon
Self Warming Mask for Combination Skin.
- A self-heating mask that is designed to draw out the impurities whilst giving you a relaxing experience with the added benefit of Pear fruit juice to soften and nourish the skin.

My skin is acting like a total arse at the moment and breaking out like crazy thanks to stress so I'm really hopefully that these will help me out with my situation!

I've only used the Witch Hazel and Willowherb one so far but I can say that it is absolutely lovely, a really refreshing  mask it leaves your skin feeling notably cleaner without that uncomfortably tight feeling. The scent on this one is probably a bit love/hate depending on whether or not you like natural herby smells, however if that's not your thing then fear not as there are loads of fruity options for all skin types that I'm sure will smell divine.

Have you tried any of the H&M face masks? If so what are you favourites?

P.S for the rest of April I will only be posting every Friday due to University taking paramount over the blog! Normal daily service will be resumed in May!

  1. Omg I've never heard or seen this before either... I've been living under a rock!! These sound absolutely incredible and the packaging is so cute! The ones you picked up sound amazing, and they sound like they work wonders on your skin. Next time I'm in H&M I'm definitely picking some up, I've never took any real notice in their beauty section, I'm pretty sure my local one doesn't have much selection!

  3. I love these H&M masks. I wrote about them the other day on my blog too. My favourite so far is the charcoal & pumice one because it gave my skin a good deep clean and the effect of that lasted the week! :)

    1. I'm certain they do some for sensitive skin as well, but it's probably better to be on the cautious side! :)

  7. I knew H&M had a beauty range but didn't realise they have face masks. I don't have the beauty section in my local H&M though :( but these masks sounds awesome...especially the peel off mask, love those!

    1. Oh its a shame your local H&M don't have the beauty range yet! I'm sure they will expand into most stores soon though! I imagine it will probably be trialling in a few of the bigger ones and then moving to the rest if its successful! :D
