At the beginning of every term I have a habit of going a tad "spend happy". This term I managed to get it under control and not go too over board.
Here comes the photos...
So as you can see only a smallish haul, I did buy some stuff from Primark but they were all basics and not really that interesting. I may do a clothes haul if it's interesting to anyone but honestly it's not particularly exciting.
1. Cutex Moisture Guard Nail Polish Remover - This is my favourite brand of nail polish remover. It smells slightly like citrus and doesn't strip your nails or dry them out yet it still removes the nail polish with ease.
2. La Roche-Posay Effaclar K - I used this a lot last year and I was really sad to use it up. I decided that it was time to repurchase and I'm really happy that I did. It not only fights those annoying blackheads but it also creates a smooth base for make-up and is a hydrating gel-like formula.
3. La Roche-Posay SeroZinc Toner - This is a new addition into my skincare collection and I'm really happy about it. It's an aerosol toner and it gives a fine mist which is super refreshing and helps to calm down any redness.
4. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water for Combination/sensitive skin - I usually get the pink lid Micellar but they didn't have it so I tried the Green Lid and I like it. Although I don't particularly love it - I don't think it takes my mascara off as well but that's just me and I'm not overly fond of the "mattifying" claim as it makes me think that it could be quite drying on the skin.
5. Shakespeare by Paul Edmondson - This is a really interesting book about everything Shakespeare, it gives information not only about the plays but also Shakespeare himself and the time in which he was writing! Definitely recommend this for anyone who's studying Shakespeare or if you're just interested in the bard.
6. Word Drops by Paul Anthony Jones - This is a coffee table book (which I'm currently obsessed with) and is something you can just pick up, flick to a page and read an interesting anecdote about word etymology - that sounds rather dull but it is interesting honest!
That's all for today's post! Not a massive haul but I'm happy with it!
Let me know what you've got recently!
