You have to have been living in a hole to have not heard of this much hyped product by now, it is of course The Body Shop's Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil.
However, opinion is divided on this little bottle of floral goodness, with some bloggers loving it, whilst others claiming that it left a film and even caused breakouts!
I decided that the only way to know for sure was to try it out for myself!
Packaging: Good overall, I like the pump and also the fact that you can close the pump off when travelling (I brought it home from uni, chucked in a suitcase and it didn't leak!). You also get a nice amount of product for your money with this bottle holding 200ml, whilst only needing 1-2 pumps to cover your whole face.
Scent: Floral whilst still abit like Camomile Tea, so if your not into that mild floral scent then this isn't for you.
Texture: Oil, it is (as the bottle claims) a nice silky oil, it spreads well across the face and once water is added it emulsifies into a milky liquid.
Does it do the job?: In my opinion, yes! I have really been enjoying using this product, it cleans all my makeup off my face, including a rather hard to budge mascara (I'm looking at you Lancome Hypnose). I wear alot of Eyeliner on an almost daily basis, this gets rid of it all in no time! I haven't experienced the 'film' that some people have found this leaves behind, but I would recommend adding a little bit of water with your finger tips to emulsify the oil before rinsing off with a warm flannel.
Price: Reasonable, you can purchase this for £10, which is a fair price for the amount of product you get.
Skin Type: It states that this is suitable for all types but I would be a little cautious if you have sensitive skin due to the use of fragrance. I have combination skin that is oily t-zone and dry cheeks and forehead and this balances out my skin perfectly (no break outs either!)
Would I Repurchase?: Possibly, I think this will last me for a long while as of yet so I may get bored but it certainly does do the job in hand pretty damn well at the moment and there is no issue with the product to convince me not to repurchase at the moment.
Overall, I feel pretty good about this product, it suits my skin and gets rid of my make-up super quickly, leaving my skin feeling nourished and clean as opposed to tight or greasy. This strikes me as a love/hate product that will work differently on different people! If your interested I suggest heading down to The Body Shop and giving it a whirl!
Have you tried the Camomile Cleansing Oil yet? What did you think of it?

My skin is very similar to yours and I loved using this all winter long, now that the weather is getting warmer I have switched to something that feels that bit more fresh but for the price you can't go wrong especially if you buy it during one of their sales x

Yeah, I think I shall switch up once the weather starts to get warmer (it's still cold here!) but for the time being I've really enjoyed using it! Thanks for reading Alina! :D xx
