Not often is it that I find a product I dislike so much that I feel the need to blog about it. But today I have found one.
Rimmel's Good to Glow Highlighter left me feeling rather disappointed after I purchased it for my holiday, hoping for a nice highlighter that would look beautiful of a hot greek evening when I was tanned. I went for the shade Soho Glow hoping that it would illuminate my cheek bones without being too obvious.
Well, it certainly wasn't obvious! Infact that was the problem, on the cheek after it was blended out you could barely see it! The formula is nice and light but the pay off is really dismal.
The above swatch is about 3/4 layers of the product and not blended out in the first picture and blended out in the second. As you can see its a really pretty colour and if it was an effective highlighter it would look beautiful blended out on your face, however it is so subtle on the cheekbones when your wearing makeup that it really makes little to no difference.
What I ended up doing is using this underneath my foundation as a way to brighten up my complexion and that worked well.
Overall, this isn't a terrible product however, it certainly isn't great and left me feeling rather disappointed.
Have you tried this product? What was your opinion of it?
