The July Favourites
July has been such a busy month for me! I've finally picked myself back up and started blogging again and have been reading ferociously, not only that but I had a lovely week long visit from my favourite uni chummy Roisin from Rosh Nosh & Eats. Here are a few of the things that have made me very happy this month.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo - £15.50. This is GOD. I love this product more than any other product ever. If I have a blemish, dry patches or super shine, this product fixes that. Spots be gone, dry patches are banished and the only thing that shines is your lip gloss! I will be buying this product forever. I love it that much.
Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua - £33. Despite the minor heart palpitations when handing over the cash for this I haven't actually used it much since I brought it back in the beginning of the year, until now. Since my skin has cleared up (thanks Effaclar Duo!) I have been able to pull of the super light buildable coverage given by Chanel's raved about foundation. Honestly, I do love this foundation, you feel expensive when you wear it and it really is a luxury product. If your looking for a make-up splurge definately head out to your nearest Chanel counter... (also the lady that colour matched me did it perfectly and was wonderful!)
Roger & Gallet Fleur de Figure Eau Fraiche - £32. I have been raving about this scent since my first ever GlossyBox Review when I received a sample. Now I finally have it in my mitts! Its a fruity/floral scent that is sweet and summery but not sickly which makes it perfect for the day time. I have been loving this perfume and I've not even looked at my neglected collection this month.
The Divergent Trilogy by Vernonica Roth on Kindle Fire HD. I received a Kindle Fire HD for my birthday from my wonderful parents and I have been glued to it ever since. Particularly the Divergent Trilogy. Divergent is a story of a young girl called Tris that lives in a dystopian city, who at the age of 16, must choose which faction to belong to for the rest of her life. Dauntless, Erudite, Amity, Abnegation or Candor. However, Tris discovers that she in fact is Divergent and that is a deadly thing which leads to her life being changed forever. I honestly cannot recommend this trilogy enough, I couldn't put these books down and read all 3 of them in four days. I'm gutted I missed the film when it was out in cinema's but I've already got it pre-ordered on Amazon for when its released on DVD! If your looking for a captivating read that keeps you guessing and hooked the entire way through go and grab a copy of Divergent and get reading!!
