Review: Benefit - Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Brightening Makeup

Hi Guys!!

Today's post is going to be on Benefits, Hello Flawless, Oxygen WOW SPF 25 PA+++ Brightening Make-up!! (wow that's a mouthful!)

I've actually had this since Christmas time, however this is a product that I fall in and out of love with, not because its a bad product but just because I find myself using it obsessively for a couple of months and then getting bored and forgetting about it!

Firstly can I just say how much I love the packaging, Benefit never fail to amaze me with the quality and brilliance of their packaging. The way this foundation pump is designed, reduces waste as the product is pushed up the tube with each pump, as you can see above I have used about half of mine.

The coverage is a build-able medium that aims to brighten your complexion whilst covering anything you don't want to be noticed.

I find this gives a dewy finish and I don't tend to need to use much powder with this foundation (which is a rarity as my skin is basically a grease slick. Beautiful imagery there Emily.) It comes in 9 well thought out shades so suit the majority of skin colours. I am very pale so I chose the 2nd palest colour "believe in me" IVORY. I find that this matches my skin colour perfectly in the rainier months around autumn, as my summer tan is starting to fade and I'm turning into a ghostly creature for winter.

So I decided the best way to show you the coverage was to show you my skin with ONLY the foundation on. I am suffering with a horrendous outbreak of spots on my cheeks at the moment and so as you may expect they are varying shades of purple and red. Beautimous. So here is my face with no concealer (hence the dark under eyes! Damn you genetics!) and just the foundation and I think you can agree that the coverage is pretty brilliant for a 'light to medium coverage' and it doesn't feel heavy or cakey at all.

Overall, I do love this foundation and I will be grabbing for this alot more in the next few months as my skin is bound to take a beating with all the stress and late nights Uni life will bring me in a fortnights time!

You can purchase this for £25.50 here.

Have you tried Benefits Foundation? What did you think?

  1. I've yet to try this, I was given a free sample when I purchased another product. I haven't used it yet - just incase I don't love the product. I think I may suck it up and try it. Looks like a quality product based on your review!

    1. Honestly I really would recommend it, its very light on the skin and you don't get the cakey face problem with this. :)
