Today's skincare post is something that quite frankly everyone should have. A facial SPF. We only get one body and if you care about your skin you should really be using a good SPF not just for your body, but for your face AS WELL.
I had heard quite abit about La Roche-Posay as a brand before I purchased this and as I needed a new SPF for my face I thought I would pick up their 50+ SPF Melt-in cream. This cream is suitable for sensitive skin and for people with Sun allergies whilst being a high protection cream with UVB & UVA protection.
If that isn't enough to convince you on the brand then you should also know that La Roche-Posay is the dermatologists brand of choice recommended by 25,000 dermatologists world wide.
As someone who likes to look after her skin that was good enough for me!!
The texture of the cream is fairly thick, you apply it to your face and it does make your skin slightly pale to begin with but once its soaked into the skin /(I usually wait around 5 minutes but I have combination skin) it is invisible, you can use this after your moisturiser or instead of it! I usually use it instead of my moisturiser as otherwise my skin struggles to cope with the sheer amount of product and it wont sink in as well.
It smells nice, just like usual sun cream but the smell does disappear once the product has absorbed, so no need to worry if your sensitive to smells!
Overall I like this product, I don't LOVE it, but it does the job and does it well so I can't ask for more! Whether I would repurchase it is a different story, I probably wouldn't repurchase this straight away just due to the fact that I like to change up things like SPF to try and find one that I do LOVE.
I hope you enjoyed this post!
Now I have some EXCITING news.
As you may know I sadly lost my lovely cat Tibby last month and since our other cat Poppy has been suffering being a only cat and has changed her eating habits and is generally not as energetic as usual. Because of this we made a decision to start looking for another companion for Poppy. So we went to the place we got Poppy from (a local cat rescue centre ran by one lovely lady) and we found a beautiful 5 month old male black kitten. We weren't intending on getting a kitten as we were looking for a young adult but we instantly fell in love with this little guy and we couldn't not have him.

We unfortunately do not have a name yet though!!! So any suggestions are welcome!!
